Sharing Reports
Give teammates access to a report as an editor or a viewer.
Reports are private to their creator by default. To give other people in your organization access, open the report and click Share.
Roles
When sharing, pick a role for each person:
- Editor — Can view the report and change its configuration (data sources, columns, filters, aggregations). Cannot delete the report.
- Viewer — Can view the report and apply temporary view-level filters for themselves. Cannot change the saved configuration.
Both roles can export the report to CSV.
Adding People
In the share dialog, search for a teammate by name or email, pick their role, and add them. They’ll see the report in their own Reports list the next time they open it.
Changing or Revoking Access
The share dialog lists everyone who currently has access. Change someone’s role by clicking their role label and picking a new one, or remove access entirely with the remove action next to their name.
Ownership
The person who created the report is the owner. Only the owner can:
- Delete the report
- Transfer the report (via duplication — see below)
Editors can change the configuration, but the owner remains the owner until the report is deleted.
Duplicating a Report
Any editor or viewer can duplicate a report from the report header. Duplicates start fresh — the person who duplicates becomes the owner of the copy, and no sharing settings carry over. This is useful when you want to branch a shared report to experiment without affecting the original.
External Sharing
Reports cannot be shared with people outside your organization or via public link. Everyone you share with must be a member of the same organization.
