You can manage billing directly from your organization settings — upgrade your tier, add Pro, view invoices, or update payment details.

How Blue’s pricing works

Blue has a two-dimensional pricing model:

  • Tiers define your organization’s scale — how many users, workspaces, records, storage, automations, and dashboards you get. Tiers are one-time payments — you pay once and own that tier permanently.
  • Pro is an optional yearly subscription that unlocks advanced features on top of any tier, without changing your tier’s scale limits.
  • Enterprise is a custom plan for large organizations — unlimited scale plus every Pro feature.

This means you don’t pay recurring per-user fees. Pick the tier that fits your team size today, and add Pro if you want the advanced capabilities.

Pro gives your team an enterprise-level feature set — row-level permissions, audit logs, scheduled automations, saved views, cross-workspace records, white label, and more — without the per-user fees, seat minimums, or annual commitments that other platforms require at this feature level. One flat $500/year per organization, regardless of how big your team is.

Upgrading your tier

You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time by paying only the difference between what you originally paid and the new tier’s price — not the full price. Promo pricing is honored, so if you got a discount on your original purchase, that discount carries over into the upgrade math.

Upgrades happen instantly — your new limits take effect the moment payment completes. Your data, workspaces, and settings are preserved.

Pro ($500/year) unlocks advanced features on top of any tier:

Higher limits

Pro raises several tier limits across the board. Your tier’s scale limits (users, workspaces, storage, automations) stay the same — see the tiers table above for those.

API rate limits show per-key / per-user / per-org requests per second. Pro doubles all three scopes across any tier.

Pro billing is yearly and renews automatically. You can cancel anytime — access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Adding Pro does not change your tier limits (users, workspaces, storage, automations). To increase those, upgrade your tier. Pro and tier upgrades are independent — combine whichever gives you what you need.

Enterprise

Enterprise is for large organizations that need unlimited scale, every Pro feature, and dedicated support. It includes:

  • Unlimited users, workspaces, and storage
  • 200,000 records per workspace
  • All Pro features included
  • Dedicated account manager with quarterly business reviews
  • Custom integrations and on-premise deployment options
  • SLA guarantee
  • Custom training and onboarding
  • Annual or multi-year contracts with flexible payment terms
  • Invoice-based billing instead of credit card

User limits

All user types count toward your tier’s user limit — owners, admins, team members, custom roles, clients, comment-only, and view-only. There are no “free” seats. If you need more users, upgrade your tier.

Money-back guarantee

Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Try Blue on a real workspace, push it through real workflows, and if it doesn’t work for your team, request a full refund from the billing page in settings.

How billing works

Self-serve billing

Blue uses Stripe for secure payment processing. From the billing page in your organization settings you can:

  • Upgrade your tier — pay the difference, get the new limits instantly
  • Add Pro — unlock advanced features with a yearly subscription
  • View invoices and download receipts
  • Update payment methods — all major cards accepted
  • Apply promo codes during checkout
  • Cancel Pro — access continues until the end of the current billing period

All major credit and debit cards are supported, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Platform maintenance fee

Your tier purchase is a one-time payment. To keep the platform financially sustainable long-term, Blue reserves the right to introduce an annual platform maintenance fee of up to $50/year per organization. Organizations on Pro are exempt — Pro includes platform maintenance.

This is a safety valve, not part of the current plan. If it ever applies to non-Pro organizations:

  • You’ll receive at least 90 days’ advance notice with a clear explanation of why
  • Organizations that choose not to pay will have a 90-day export window starting on the activation date to download all their data (records, files, attachments, custom field values) as files
  • After the export window closes, access to the organization ends
  • Upgrading to Pro at any point removes the fee

We commit to the export window because your data belongs to you. We don’t commit to free hosting forever — that’s what the fee exists to fund.

Enterprise contracts
