The Updated at field shows the exact moment a record was last touched. Add it to any project to track activity and surface stale work.

Use cases

Sort by recency — surface the most recently changed records at the top of any view.
Find what’s gone quiet — group by week and spot records that haven’t been updated.
Activity charts — chart team activity over time in dashboards.
Stale-record reports — filter for “not updated in 30 days” to find work that needs a nudge.

Behavior

Updated at is system-managed. Blue stamps the value automatically on every change to the record — title, description, custom field value, status, comments, attachments, checklist items, tags, and so on. There is no manual editing.

Pairs with Created at and Completed at

Updated at sits alongside the Created at and Completed at fields. Pick whichever matches the question you’re asking — Created at for when something started, Updated at for when it was last touched, Completed at for when it was finished.
