Signing In

Blue supports multiple ways to sign in — magic links, one-time passwords, Google, Microsoft, and password login.

Overview

Blue gives you a few different ways to sign in, so you can choose whatever works best for you. You can use a one-time password or magic link sent to your email, sign in with your Google or Microsoft account, or use a password if you prefer.

Email Sign-In

On the sign-in screen, enter your email address and click Continue. Blue will check your account and route you to the appropriate method:

  • If you have a password set, you will be prompted to enter it.
  • If you do not have a password, Blue will send a 4-digit one-time code to your email.

This keeps the sign-in experience simple — one entry point that adapts to your account.

One-Time Password (OTP)

When signing in without a password, Blue emails you a 4-digit code. Enter it on the sign-in screen to log in. The code is single-use and short-lived. If you did not receive it, you can click Resend to get a new code.

Magic Link 1

Blue also supports magic links. When you receive a sign-in email, it may contain a link you can click to sign in directly — no code entry required. The link works once and expires after a short time.

Magic Link 2

Sign in with Google

Click Continue with Google on the sign-in screen to authenticate with your Google account. If you already have a Blue account with the same email address, it will be linked automatically — no separate setup required.

Sign in with Microsoft

Click Continue with Microsoft on the sign-in screen to authenticate with your Microsoft account. Both personal accounts (Outlook, Hotmail, Live) and work or school accounts are supported. If you already have a Blue account with the same email address, it will be linked automatically.

Password

If you prefer a traditional password, you can set one from your account security settings. Once set, Blue will prompt you for your password when you sign in with your email. If you forget your password, you can request a reset email or switch to a one-time code instead.

You can still use Google or Microsoft sign-in even after setting a password — all methods remain available.

To set or manage your password, go to Account Settings and open the Security section.
