Moving Records

Move records and all associated information between lists or across workspaces.


Sometimes you may need to reorganize your records by moving them between lists or workspaces. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the record you want to move.
  2. Click on the “…” menu in the record toolbar or right-click the record card to open the context menu.
  3. Choose Move.
  4. Select the destination workspace and list.

Moving Record

Things to note:

  • Only users with the appropriate permissions (not view-only or comment-only roles) can move records.
  • When moving across workspaces, attachments and comments will be carried over.
  • Moving a record removes it from its current location (unlike copying, which creates a duplicate).
  • You cannot move records into or out of a locked list.
