Moving Records
Move records and all associated information between lists or across workspaces.
Sometimes you may need to reorganize your records by moving them between lists or workspaces. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the record you want to move.
- Click on the “…” menu in the record toolbar or right-click the record card to open the context menu.
- Choose Move.
- Select the destination workspace and list.
Things to note:
- Only users with the appropriate permissions (not view-only or comment-only roles) can move records.
- When moving across workspaces, attachments and comments will be carried over.
- Moving a record removes it from its current location (unlike copying, which creates a duplicate).
- You cannot move records into or out of a locked list.
